Dynarex Aftercare

-Dynarex is a bandage that acts like a second skin to create a barrier between your fresh tattoo and any outside debris, bacteria, or liquids you may come into contact with during the healing process.

-Leave on for 3-7 days. It is normal to experience a soupy looking ink sac under the bandage. This is excess ink and plasma that would normally cause scabbing during the healing process. It’s a good thing!

-If leakage occurs or an opening appears that can allow outside debris or water in, remove and follow standard aftercare instructions. You may also contact the shop to get rewrapped if this occurs within the first day or two!

-Dynarex is best removed in the shower where the adhesive can be easily broken up and the tattoo can be cleaned immediately. Find an edge or corner to lift and peel off slowly under running water. This may be uncomfortable, but just take it slow and make sure not to pull against the grain!

-Upon removal there may be light scabbing, dry skin, or dried ink/plasma on your skin. You may gently wash it with your hands- don't use a scrubby or washcloth- and unscented antibacterial soap to remove excess ink/plasma. Apply a very thin layer of unscented lotion or Vaseline to moisturise the skin while it finishes healing.

**If you exhibit signs of an allergic reaction, remove wrap immediately and follow standard aftercare instructions. Signs include, but are not limited to, the following: redness around the edge of the wrap (not the tattoo), itchiness, swelling, rash or bumps.**
